We are delighted to welcome you back for Culture Night 2025!

Join us for a guided tour of Trinity College Botany’s unique teaching and research facility. Trinity Botanists will show you around the walled garden, arboretum and large collection of glasshouse plants from all over the world. Hear stories of plant research expeditions and discover our oldest plant. Learn about the history of plants through time and the amazing ways plants have evolved to thrive in almost every environment on Earth. Discover amazing plant adaptations, such as leaves that are in fact stems, plants that eat their pollinators, and more!
The Gardens will be open from 4.00 pm and we are offering two group tours, at 4.30 pm and 6.00 pm. Because of limited capacity in our glasshouses you will need to book your preferred tour in advance. Check out the Culture Night events page for more information. To book your place visit us on Eventbrite.
Please also note that, currently, for visitors with limited mobility, access to most areas is somewhat restricted due to older building configurations and a mixture of gravel and grass surfaces. We are working to address these access issues and make the Gardens accessible to everyone. However, the gardens are neurodivergent-friendly, with quiet and peaceful places to wander or sit.
We look forward to seeing you on September 19th!
